Wait, haven't I seen this before? Oh, right, that was just one woman's mother disparaging her and not a multi-million dollar company that exists for the sole purpose of making women feel badly about themselves.
Seriously, it's one thing to encourage your overweight friend or relative to lose a little weight for general health reasons. But to imply that a woman needs to lose weight for just one freaking day? Let me tell you a story: In 7th grade I had a teacher who couldn't exactly fit into a size S, if you know what I mean. She was a HUGE fan of Snickers bars. Well, she got engaged, lost a ton of weight leading up to her wedding, and the whole class was pretty impressed with her dedication. Until she got back from the honeymoon and whipped open a jumbo-sized bag of mini Snickers and the weight came back in like 4 days.
Don't do it for the wedding, ladies. It's not worth it. And f*%k you, Slim Fast!
